I had the same experience as a child. I think...Hee! I had the same experience as a child. I think it was Rotarians (gag) who threw this huge Christmas party for kids with disabilities. I, of course, always thought I was too old to go but my mom made me. I HATED these parties - everyone speaking to you like you're a child - oh wait! I was a child! But even that young I was pretty mature and would have preferred a good conversation with someone to throughing fake snowballs around the room. I'm going to share this one on my blog!
